The whole galaxy of new generation collectors formed during the years of independence. This new generation is to shift the old collectors and to attract more and more people to this immensely interesting field.

Collector is considered to be a personality in the whole world, and one’s collection first of all represents artistic taste, intelligence and level of prosperity of its owner. But rich people do not want to confine themselves to purchasing; they strive to become active participants of projects which they will support. Accordingly, new aims and methods presuppose a different level of collectors’ participation in the sphere of investing in the works of art. There is a popular opinion, which is often wrong, that purchasing a picture, keeping it in safe and waiting for the price of it to grow year by year is enough. But is investing in work of art always profitable? Rich cultural heritage had become a trademark of many broken-down banks in Ukraine, therefore the Center is carrying out active, interesting and large-scaled marketing activities to provide Maecenas with a possibility to invest in a collection and have a good profit from it in the nearest future. Besides, a value of a picture set by the Center fixes a new rate, which should not knock off during the possible future sale. The International Maecenas Art Center works with actual prices for works of art. This helps to orientate people, whose aim is more than just purchasing a picture, in the modern art market. Competent collection of works of modern Ukrainian artists can raise the initial price twofold or even threefold owing to numerous exhibitions and presentations carried out by the Center abroad. Competent casting of artistic values allows to save the invested money, as well as to increase it: on the average, every year pictures grow in price on 10-100%. And the risk of loosing the money will be minimal, unlike on the bank deposit, because the process of integration of Ukrainian pictorial art into European context is only a matter of time.

The aim of the International Maecenas Art Center is to reunite the people, who have decided to invest in collections of modern artists and its promotion around the world. Collections formed involving well-known art specialists and experts, will participate in the international art-projects carried-out by the Center and aimed at promotion of the Ukrainian art abroad. Consequently, collecting will become a national feature. Artists of different generations will be represented in the collection of the Center – already existing masters as well as young artists, whose artistic activities are on the early stage. They all passed through the mill and have their own inimitable manner of painting and feeling of color, particular style and handwriting. And it is consistent, as representatives of the strongest artistic trends of the past century come from Ukraine: Malevych, Kandinsky, Rodchenko, Arkhipenko, etc.
